Forces Support CIC

Forces Support CIC was launched in March 2010 by father and son partnership Bill and Billy McCance, with an aim to create a national network of Forces Support outlets to raise money for the families of soldiers killed at war.

The CIC was created first, with an aim to meet all the right people to then form Forces Support Charity, which (much to their amazement) only took a number of months, and the Charity was formed in July 2010.

The first shop was opened in Leominster, Herefordshire March 2010. By September 2010 Forces Support had opened its first warehouse.

Councilor Brigadier Peter Jones CBE LLB now a Trustee of Forces Support Charity opens the Leominster warehouse with co-founder of Forces Support CIC Billy McCance.

The CIC is now formed as the trading arm of the Forces Support Charity and as such will expand through out the UK with a goal of raising around £30k per week for the Charities objectives. We estimate this to take between 3-5 years, but once achieved should create a sustainable life long income for the Charity.
